Sending & Receiving Money
If you have a friend or relative that you would like to give money too, all you need is their mobile number. You can send $US0.50, $US1, $US2 or any amount up to $US1000 at no extra cost. To send money using your Cash App, go into your app's wallet section, click on $ next to a dollar amount then choose send to enter in someone's mobile number. For example, if I want to give my brother $20 for his birthday I can do so by clicking send and entering in his mobile number instead of writing him a check or paying him with cash. This is how many people are currently sending cash payments. It is also possible to request money from friends and family through your Cash App account. All you need to do is ask them for their mobile number and they will receive an SMS text message asking them if they would like to accept your request. Once they accept it, there will be a pending payment in their app that can be accepted or declined within 24 hours. They don't even need to download the Cash App in order to make use of these features as everything can be done from within Apple Pay! These options make it incredibly easy to share cash without having access cards or cash on hand. To make a payment using Square Cash, just follow these steps Open up your app, select Cash from your home screen, then tap Send in the upper right-hand corner. Then choose who you want to send money to by entering their name or phone number into search bar at top of screen. Enter how much you want to send them by typing in dollar amount and tapping Next. If you don't have enough funds in your account yet, tap Add Funds then choose how much more you'd like to add before sending. Finally hit Send, confirm that everything looks correct, then enter your password when prompted (to ensure no one else can access it). Your recipient will receive a notification on their phone letting them know they've received some CASH! They'll be able to see what you sent them, and if they haven't downloaded Square Cash yet, we'll even help them download it directly from within their notification. Once they open up their app and sign in with their username or phone number, they'll see that you sent them some CASH! They can easily transfer those funds to their bank account via ACH transfer.
